**Client Profile**:
Multinational Logistic company. Established in 1970s in HQ and has developed its services in over 60 countries around the world and across continents. They are penetrating into Indonesia market and is looking for Head of People as part of the senior management.
**Job Role**:
HR Generalist
**The purpose of this position is to deliver the Country Human Resources requirements and align to both the Global People Strategy and APAC Region Strategic priorities by establishing the local Country people plan.
You will set standards of excellence and lead the Country people team in designing, developing, and delivering the people plans.
The HR Senior Manager will serve as HR expert and centre of excellence for the business, taking leadership and advising the business on all HR matters.
As a member of the Leadership team, the HR Senior Manager position holder will be an advocate and role model of the company’s Principles; encouraging all employees within the Country to embrace and develop one company’s culture.
- Support CEO in building the human resources functions in a new start up environment and establish all related reward and benefit structure, policy and procedure, as well as, building the Management team.
- Develop a Country People plan, together with the Country CEO that supports the achievement of regional and global business strategies and priorities by analysing situations, diagnosing problems, identifying key issues, establishing, or evaluating alternative strategies and solutions.
- Advise CEO and Country Leadership team on all aspects of People department policies and practices; facilitate talent reviews, talent development and succession planning, assisting the leadership team in building capabilities, culture and team.
- Cascade the people strategy/strategic priorities to the business and advise and consult with Regional and Global People teams to develop local strategies in support of the business.
- Lead People objectives and execute the needs of the Country in terms of organisational design, change management and leadership development in response to business strategy, translating Group and Regional People corporate strategy and initiatives into local people department deliverables.
- Drive a learning culture within the business; source, manage and direct relevant in-house and external learning and development programmes to retain high calibre staff by enhancing their skills and competencies.
- Direct and drive performance management culture within the team ensuring that staff meet their targets in line with the business goals; recruit, select, and assign employee, when needed, ensuring equal employment opportunities in recruitment, training and promotion; ensure that management of people is effectively carried out in the business in accordance with statutory requirements and People policies and procedures.
- Foster and support the development of the senior management team - providing coaching and team building solutions, support, assistance, and advice to Senior Managers on employment relations issues particularly regarding learning and development, remuneration, employee relations, grievance, and disciplinary issues.
- Lead, manage and motivate team in line with People policies and procedures to ensure they deliver services in line with expectations, maintaining and sharing with Regional People teams’ updates on Country people progress and initiatives.
**Safety Accountabilities**:
- Commit to compliance with applicable HSSE requirement in the responsible fields / department.
- Allocate adequate resources to eliminate / reduce identified HSSE risks to as low as reasonably practicable, and supervise the HSSE enforcement to get the desire result.
- Influence critical HSSE behaviour expectations by demonstrating role-Model in the responsible field / department.
- Deliver HSSE KPIs cascaded to the responsible field / department.
Report to : Country CEO
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor degree with solid education achievement from any background with solid experience in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 8 years of a progressive career path in HR, of which six years must be at a senior management level.
- Sound strategic HR knowledge and experience, particularly with employment law and hands on experience in Employment Relations, specifically across APAC countries preferred.
- Experience in building human resources function in new start-up company
- Experience working in complex multi-national organisations preferred.
- Significant experience and commitment to Service Excellence, Coaching/Consulting (HRBP experience useful), Project Management and Influencing skills (using direct and tailored influencing approaches).
- Hands on day to day experience with Strategic mind set.
