**What will you do**:

- Actively manage ongoing upstream commercial matters and pursue / evaluate opportunities outside Cepu Block
- Evaluate large affiliate capital decisions or opportunities commercially to determine ExxonMobil portfolio competitiveness
- Utilize economic analysis, modeling, business acumen and opportunity evaluation to facilitate improved business investment, opportunity shaping and portfolio quality decisions
- Understand the commercial and contract structure for the business and support business development activities
- Create presentations for meetings with executive management team
- Interface and support management, business lines, and other support teams as appropriate
- Exhibit deep curiosity, demonstrating strategic thinking to drive long term growth
- Contribute as member of an integrated business team responsible for the project/business activity, including cross functional collaboration and identification of business improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, control procedures and applicable laws/regulation.
- Have the opportunity to contribute commercial expertise to a range of Upstream businesses and projects. These may include: exploration, operation optimization, gas commercialization and other opportunities.
- Will be an ambassador for commercial acumen within the affiliate. Serve as a hub of information, combining technical and financial inputs to generate economic and market insights that drive major decisions.
- This position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia at the ExxonMobil GKBI office.

**Skills and qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of experience in the Energy industry
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Experience in contract analysis
- Strong business acumen, commercial design and project management skills
- Appropriate experiences and skills demonstrating effective analytical, communication and external networking abilities.
- Exhibits sound commercial judgment
- Able to be effective in multi-cultural environment and build effective relationships with external parties
- Preferred but not required: experience working in a PSC environment
