Factory Manager

**Job Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management**:

- Oversee daily operations of the chocolate production line to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Implement and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize productivity and minimize waste.

**2. Recipe and Formula Development**:

- Work with product development teams to create and refine chocolate formulas.
- Ensure that recipes meet quality standards, taste preferences, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary formulas and processes.

**3. Quality Control and Assurance**:

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high product standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and certifications.
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly.

**4. Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Manage raw material procurement, stock levels, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source sustainable and high-quality ingredients.

**5. Team Leadership and Development**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise factory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

**6. Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Prepare and manage the factory’s budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

**7. Reporting and Collaboration**:

- Provide regular production reports to upper management, including KPIs and insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and distribution teams to align production with business strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to keep the factory competitive.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5-8 years in a factory or production management role, preferably in the food or chocolate industry.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate production processes, machinery, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Expertise in chocolate recipe development or artisan chocolate production.
