**Your assignment**:
We are looking for a **GIS Specialist** to work within the Project Engineering team for the Sonic Bay Project in **Indonesia** on a **10:2 roster** basis.
- **Location**: Weda Bay, Indonesia
- ** Length of contract**: Permanent / Full Time

**Your main responsibilities**:
As the **GIS Specialist**, you will interface with various teams and sets of data in a multicultural environment (English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia). Key responsibilities include;
- Conducting data gathering, conversion and analysis of GIS data, including of drone aerial photos
- Preparing maps, charts, reports, and other exhibits with GIS data sets
- Coordinating with and proactively seeking data from various teams: land acquisition, external, construction, environment
- Close cooperation with the team the survey on site

**Your background**:
To be successful for this role, you will have;
- BS or BA in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Surveying or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience - _required_
- Basic understanding of concepts behind data management in a relational database
- Strong GIS skills with GIS packages, including ESRI suite of products
- Proficient in the latest versions of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS - _preferred_
