Our client, an enchanting luxury boutique hotel, is looking for an F&B Service Captain to join their team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a waiter or server in a five-star hotel or upscale dining establishment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven track record in providing excellent customer service in a high-end setting.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu items, wine pairing, and service standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to guide and support the service team during operations, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to service standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanour, with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods during service hours.
- Basic problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or operational challenges efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing briefings to all about the preparation, service and contents / materials of the menu presented.
- Doing duties and responsibilities as usual done by other captains or waiters and other tasks that may be given by superiors.
- Maintain and always enter data accurately and correctly all matters related to sales reports, guest complaints, solutions, and all matters related to personnel and equipment, in a log book for reference.
- Ensuring the fulfilment of supply / supplies, materials and all supply requests for goods that are often used.
- Ensure that employee staff are actually carrying out side duties related to service needs, which are assigned to them.
- Always attend briefings whether daily or monthly in nature and meetings intended to communicate and discuss various aspects of food and beverage preparation, production and service/presentation.
- Monitor and supervise the flow of service and presentation in F&B outlets.
- Ensure that all tools and operational equipment are always in good condition and ready to use at all times.
- Ensure that the performance and maintenance of the work area throughout the F&B outlet is properly implemented.
- Respond to any complaints, special requests or questions about food, beverage and services.
- Create and play an active role by providing input/advice to management on matters related to restaurant & bar operations, banquet & catering, room service in general and promotions in F&B.
- Monitor and analyse guest feedback related to beverage experiences.
- Implement improvements based on guest preferences and trends in the beverage industry.
- Always ready and willing to carry out other tasks that may be given at other outlets if needed.
