The Regional Product Manager - APJ (RPM) is directly responsible for leading, within their region and in collaboration with the Global Product Managers (GPM), the product strategy, planning, launching and delivery of the workload and profit targets for the products under their responsibility. This includes product roadmaps, product positioning and value proposition and product lifecycle management. The Regional Product Manager builds, together with GPM and their RPM peers, a foundation of knowledge to support the market sizing and sizing of Acronis opportunities for all products under responsibility. The role is commercially oriented, responsible within the region for driving performance vs. targets by building product knowledge in the sales and marketing organizations, directly supporting key customer interactions and ensuring execution of commercial activities to drive sales. The role must consider both short and long term product objectives and ensure a close linkage to overall company objectives.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Understanding of the regional requirements and translating those into product requirements
- Develop and maintain sales strategy with regional representatives
- Analyze and understand market & industry competitors
- Input regional needs to Global product management incorporating from regional business units and building into future product roadmaps
- Develop a deep understanding of new customers' needs as well as wants, make data-driven decisions about the direction to grow
- Monitor regional competitor activities, announcements and product launches
- Play a strong leadership and evangelist role within the region to drive organization alignment and support for the product(s)
- Refine segment specific and overall product value propositions based on market experiences to strengthen and continuously improve product positioning and increase regional relevance
- Perform product trainings for Marketing, Sales, and PR teams
**WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**
- 5+ years of Product Management and/or business development experience in technology sector
- Ability to interact successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders (internally and externally) and exert influence to accomplish objectives
- Solid marketing knowledge with significant experience in product management.
- Proven track record of translating customer pains into product features and delivering delightful customer experiences that drive results is a must.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, collaborative and flexible environment, with the ability to manage multiple product projects simultaneously while driving towards aggressive goals.
- Experienced effective communicator in front of senior audience level
- Experience in market analysis
- Experience in collecting and documenting requirements, product specifications
- Fluent English
