**About Quantum Digital Listening**
The Quantum Digital Listening team is a small but energetic group of analysists within Quantum who operate as the bridge between online data and the wider company.
We either operate in tandem with the wider more qualitative elements of our company, helping provide data and analysis for ongoing projects, or work separately to provide consulting services directly to Quantum’s clients.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- A very strong understanding of social media as a domain - e.g., using it for work purposes to collect relevant data for analysis (either manually or using a 3rdparty analysis platform or consolidator)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a social media analyst or similar analytical role that leverages social media data on a daily basis
- A proven ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative style data and to synthesize information clearly
- Proven strong analytical & strategic thinking skills with the ability to produce insightful and accurate analysis and strategic recommendations
- Ability to handle client conversations across a variety of industries
- Able to interrogate complex briefs, detailing them into clear and tangible actions and desired deliverables
- Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter and proactive attitude
- Highly organized and impeccable attention to detail. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver detailed and accurate reports
- Happy to be working remote, with teams from across the globe.
- A background working in a consultancy, preparing proposals, pitches, reports, running workshops or meetings etc. preferred, but not essential
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the entire project lifestyle of client work from start to finish (from briefing to report handover & presentations).
- Operate the Quantum Digital Listening social listening analytics platform including**:Setting up Boolean queries containing keywords, operators & parameters**:
- Manage the collection of social media data - clean, segment and organise data
- Use the built in analytics tools to create dashboard and data outputs for projects as required
- Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously with team members from other geographies & time zones.
- Undertake background / desk research and consult with project stakeholders (within Quantum & at client level) to define project objectives & deliverables by breaking down briefs into the criteria for social/ digital listening scans
- Design the inquiry methodology the projects and take initiative on the refinement of the scan setup to ensure accurate and insightful mention analysis is available to report on.
- Pull and interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, etc.
- Consolidate and analyse data, and deliver standard and custom social media reports.
- Educate Quantum team members to understand the benefits of the platform & power of social media data in general, and how it can be useful to their projects
- Write periodic trend reports, articles & other PR materials on a variety of topics.
- Undertake periodic training sessions, internal & external ‘webinars’ on a variety of digital listening topics & methodologies.
**TECHNICAL SKILLS**
- Ability to create and edit reports deliverable for PowerPoint, and Excel formats that transform social data into a clear story. Visualize findings legibly using charts, tables and infographics, and provide actionable insights based on concrete data.
