**What is the Job all about?**

The primary purpose of a Logistics Manager overseeing the export-import process, warehouse management, and local distribution delivery is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods throughout the supply chain. This role is critical in optimizing logistics operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall benefit of the organization.

By performing these Job Purpose, the Logistics Manager holds a significant role in ensuring that goods are delivered on time, in full, and in good condition, while also optimizing costs, improving customer satisfaction, and coordinating business growth.

**Your main responsibilities**:
Export-Import Process Management:

- Oversee all aspects of international shipping, including customs regulations, documentation, and compliance for the import and export of goods.
- Develop strategies to streamline the export-import process, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods while minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with international suppliers and customers to coordinate shipments, addressing any issues related to transportation, customs clearance, and tariffs.

Warehouse Management:

- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and order fulfilment to ensure optimal use of space and resources.
- Implement best practices for inventory management to reduce holding costs, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure warehouse safety and security standards are met and maintained, training staff on proper handling procedures.

Local Distribution Delivery:

- Plan and manage local distribution routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while optimizing transportation costs.
- Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics, addressing any delays or service issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and logistics partners to maintain an efficient and reliable delivery process.

Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Manage and mentor logistics staff, creating a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and production, to align logistics processes with overall business objectives.

Cost Management and Budgeting
- Develop and manage logistics budgets, identifying cost reduction opportunities and implementing efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
- Analyze logistics costs and performance data to inform decision-making and initiate operational & process improvements.

**Your background**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree any discipline
- At least 7 years of experience in the related field
- Proficiency in the English language
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments and documentation requests efficient.
- Great and creative personality
- Good problem-solving sense
- Good versatility to perform in multiple roles if required.
- MS Office and SAP literate
- Can grasp new concepts quickly.

Supply Chain Management:

- In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning, inventory control, distribution, and logistics management.
- Awareness of the interdependencies between different components of the supply chain.

Transportation and Shipping Regulations:

- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import-export laws.
- Understanding of safety and compliance requirements impacting logistics operations.

Inventory Management:

- Familiarity with inventory management practices and tools, including stock control methods and inventory optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of best practices for warehousing and order fulfilment.
