**Objectives of the position**:

- Develop sales opportunities in the Transportation, Furniture, CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) segments of the Polyurethane (PU) business in Indonesia.
- Develop & execute sales activities to achieve mid/long-term targets in alignment with SBU (Strategic Business Unit) strategy.

**Main Responsibilities & Key Activities**:
**Business/Sales Development**:

- Contribute to profitable growth of Transportation, Furniture, CASE PU business in Indonesia.
- Develop sales strategy in alignment with A-PMA direction and ensure required support are obtained.
- Plan, organize and manage sales activities related to Transportation, Furniture, CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) segments.
- Organize events (Seminar/Tech Day/Workshop) for strategic customers to gain business opportunities.
- Define & implement pricing strategy to reach optimal profitability.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders of strategic customers.
- Ensure customers’ credit management is aligned to company's guideline and risk management.
- Organize visits from RBU colleagues to drive business growth.
- Provide ad hoc and regular management reporting timely.
- Drive commercial projects through Sales Force.
- Support customers’ sustainability initiatives with our portfolio of solutions.

**Market Intelligence**
- Have in-depth understanding of customer needs, industry drivers, unique selling points to recommend the best solution(s), leading to the achievement of value creation for the customers and BASF.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering/Science/Chemical/Industrial
- Min 5 years as Technical Sales or Technical Service preferably in the PU (Polyurethane) and chemical industries.
- Japanese/Chinese speaker will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of Transportation, Furniture, CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) industry.
