Key Responsibilities:
World Vision Korea together with Wahana Visi Indonesia through Mangrove Adaptive and Resilient Village for Enhanced Livelihoods by Adopting Sustainable and Environmentally-friendly Aquaculture (MARVEL SEA) developed a mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation and livelihood improvement program. This program is implemented in Surabaya City with a duration of 23 months from November 2024 - October 2026. The project coordinator will focus in economy development interventions and the achievement of livelihood outcome in target areas. Project Coordinator will generally responsible for Livelihood implementation. In technical scope, he/she will be directly implementing community development activities, such as community engagement, capacity building, and designing livelihood strategy particularly in assessing implementation of silvofishery system to community.

1. Strategy Development & Planning
- Ensure that project priorities and approaches are based on community and partners’ capacities, needs, resources and opportunities and in alignment with the approved project design
- Update annual, quarterly and monthly planning on program implementation in alignment with project design
- Coordinate revision of plans and budgets in response to monitoring, reflection and learning with the community and the program team
- Update sustainability strategy based on the current context in the community

2. Resource Acquisition & Management
- Implement effective strategic, operational and administrative coordination in alignment with donor’s requirement. - Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Provide technical support for stakeholders and community partners to identify and mobilize community resources needed for project implementation.

3. Capacity Building
- Provide technical support for the communities and partners related to mangrove restoration
- Create a Community Learning environment (including children and the marginalized) and encourage communities to share and learn from their own experiences as part of confidence and capacity building.

4. Accountability & Quality Assurance
- Provide technical support for Team Leader in collaboration in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes relevant to assigned areas.
- Contribute to the submission of reports according to the BMZ’s and WV’s requirement
- Ensure appropriate, community-based DME processes and products is implemented in target areas.
- Provide supporting information to complete ITT requirements.
- Support community partners to define monitoring process and indicators for mutual learning and accountability with WV in project implementation and capacity building.
- Share lessons learned from reports and evaluations with communities, development partners and other stakeholders.

5. Networking & Coordination:

- Build close and constructive relationships and actively learn within partner communities in order to understand their realities and facilitate development processes effectively.
- Work with stakeholders in a range of different development relationships towards the well-being of children in the communities.
- Ensure that dialogue includes whole communities inclusive of their diversity.
- Contribute to develop robust networks and excellent relationships between WVIDN and Government (including DKPP, Bappeda, Sub District Offices and village offices), related Commissions at DPRD, heads of internationl and local NGOs, UN institutions, communities, religious institution especially Churches and children - as required by Team Leader/AP manager - to establish cooperation for transformational development and to secure necessary technical, human and finance resources.
- Work with the team to undertake social networks analysis in order to understand the functions various stakeholders fulfill, power dynamics, potential for partnership and capacity building needs within target areas.

6. Management & Leadership
- Lead local partners to ensure project and program goals within target areas are met according to the project design on time, on budget and with quality.
- Monitor the context of target areas on an ongoing basis and recommend adjustments to program plans and management in light of changing context, resources, and opportunities.
