PT Evo Manufacturing Indonesia (EVO Group) is looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Procurement Department Head to lead and manage the company's procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, quality compliance, and timely availability of materials and services to support business operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid negotiation capabilities, and extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives and operational requirements.
• Lead and oversee procurement activities, including raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, machinery, equipment, general supplies, and services.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules, inventory requirements, and operational continuity.
• Identify, evaluate, select, and develop reliable suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, capacity, and compliance.
• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, cost savings, and optimal procurement conditions.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Production, PPIC, Warehouse, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure procurement plans align with business needs.
• Monitor procurement budgets, purchasing costs, supplier lead times, and procurement performance through relevant KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and strategic sourcing without compromising quality or delivery requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, approval matrices, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Strengthen procurement governance, transparency, documentation, and internal controls to minimize fraud risks and conflicts of interest.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the Procurement team to improve productivity, accountability, and service quality.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, supplier evaluations, and strategic recommendations for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or department leadership position.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably in FMCG, food and beverage, pet food, or other production-oriented industries.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, cost analysis, and procurement planning.
• Experienced in purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, machinery, and operational supplies.
• Good understanding of inventory management, supply chain processes, and production planning requirements.
• Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical procurement practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Willing to be based in Palembang / Banyuasin, South Sumatra.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost reduction programs, and long-term procurement contracts.
• Experience managing local and international suppliers.
• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are an advantage.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for coordination with international suppliers.
