ASEAN Buyer

RINA is currently recruiting for a ASEAN Buyer to join its office in Jakarta, Indonesia within the International Supply Chain Division.

The position will report to a Head settled in Shanghai and to HQ settled in Italy.

Travelling can be required in the Countries managed.

Covered Area as Procurement: APAC Region (excluded India).

• Forecast needs and supplies.
• Collaborate with key managers to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Company.
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business partnership, managing the qualification process.
• To negotiate and to finalize framework agreements and other contracts with vendors, to secure advantageous terms.
• To directly execute the procurement process (transforming purchase requisitions in purchase orders). Assist the internal clients in preparing purchase requisitions and service acceptance .
• To apply Corporate procedures aimed to guarantee common processes crossover the RINA Group companies and countries, improving the internal standardization, communication, management and company integrations.
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Balance department budgets with needs.
• Guarantee periodic report to local Head.

• College/University bachelor's degree in Technical Subjects (e.g. Engineering) or Accounting and related/Law.
• At least 4/5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with focus on negotiations activities on large scale. Experience in Engineering Field (Energy, Infrastructure, Environmental Engineering, Site Supervision and Vendor Inspections) and/or Testing, Inspections and Certification would be highly rated.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• English and Indonesian native speaker or proficient knowledge; knowledge of another language of APAC area would be a plus.
