GoodNovel Indonesia Internship Program Is Back I. About the Program The GoodNovel Internship Program is a three-month program for people who want to start a career in online novel editing. Interns will receive guidance from experienced editors while working on real editorial projects. You will learn how to review stories, guide writers, and understand the online novel market. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to join GoodNovel Indonesia as full-time editors after completing the program. Full-time employment is based on performance and is not guaranteed. II. Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Compensation: Competitive internship allowance
- Full-Time Opportunity: Based on performance and available positions III. What You Will Do Under the guidance of senior editors, you will:
- Review novel submissions based on story quality and market potential.
- Help writers improve their story ideas, plots, characters, pacing, consistency, and reader engagement.
- Give clear and useful feedback on story and language issues.
- Monitor story progress, revisions, and update schedules.
- Communicate with writers and help solve creative or work-related problems.
- Learn about online novel trends and reader preferences.
- Support the editorial team in managing projects, targets, and deadlines. IV. What You Will Gain
- Practical experience in online novel editing.
- Direct guidance and feedback from experienced editors.
- A better understanding of digital publishing, story development, and reader behavior.
- Exposure to regional and international webnovel markets.
- Experience working directly with writers and managing real editorial projects.
- An opportunity to be considered for a full-time editor position. V. Requirements
- Final-year students or fresh graduates from any major.
- Love reading and analyzing online novels.
- Have a strong command of Bahasa Indonesia and a good command of English.
- Knowledge of Chinese or the Chinese webnovel market is a plus.
- Able to notice plot problems, story inconsistencies, pacing issues, and language errors.
- Able to communicate clearly and give constructive feedback.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Able to manage deadlines and accept feedback.
- Available to work onsite in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
- Interested in building a long-term career in online novel editing. VI. Evaluation and Full-Time Opportunity Interns will be evaluated based on:
- Work performance and professionalism.
- Story analysis and editorial skills.
- Communication and teamwork.
- Ability to manage projects, targets, and deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and improve. High-performing interns will be prioritized for available full-time Online Novel Editor positions at GoodNovel Indonesia. VII.
