Fashion Design Assistant – Gingersnap Bali 📍 Kerobokan, Bali | Full-time | On-site

About Us
Gingersnap Bali is a garment and fashion retail brand based in Bali, with about 20 years in the industry. We design and produce our own collections, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Fashion Design Assistant to join our design team. The Role You will support our designers from concept to sample. You’ll help shape ideas into moodboards, keep our fabric and trim library organized, and turn sketches into patterns and finished samples.

Key Responsibilities
Create moodboards and visual references for upcoming collections Build and maintain catalogues of fabric swatches, trims, and accessories Draft patterns from design sketches or reference garments Sew samples and prototypes Prepare clear, neat handwritten notes, labels, and technical annotations Support the design team with day-to-day tasks across the development process Requirements Neat, legible handwriting Strong attention to detail Experience creating moodboards Able to organize fabric and accessory sample catalogues Sewing skills and the ability to draft patterns from a garment sketch or image A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or a related field is preferred Nice to Have Experience with 3D pattern software such as CLO 3D or Richpeace
