responsibilities:
With reference to the bio-feedstock operations of Eni Natural Energies Indonesia (including, for example, vegetable oils, used cooking oils and palm oil mill effluent oil), you will be responsible for:
• Defining bio-feedstock transportation, storage and handling solutions to support business operations while optimising technical and economic aspects.
• Ensuring that technical requirements are incorporated into logistics contracts for outsourced activities.
• Supporting the technical evaluation of logistics contractors' bids.
• Managing the planning, operation and execution of bio-feedstock transportation, storage and handling activities, both domestically and internationally.
• Managing outsourced logistics contractors.
• Ensuring bio-feedstock export operations comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring an adequate procedural framework is in place for overall logistics operations.
• Interfacing with suppliers and clients to support logistics planning and execution.
• Managing contracts during the post-award phase in accordance with Company policies.
• Health, Safety and Environment (HSE): Ensuring compliance with Company HSE policies, standards and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture, reporting incidents, supporting HSE initiatives, overseeing contractor compliance, and contributing to the achievement of the Company's HSE objectives. Skills and experience required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or another quantitative field.
• Extensive experience in logistics management roles, preferably within the vegetable oils or biofuels sector.
• Experience managing the export of bio-feedstocks, including Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) oil and other palm-derived products.
• Experience managing the transportation, bulk storage and handling of bio-feedstocks, including Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) oil and other palm-derived products, as well as bulk vessel loading and unloading operations.
• Understanding of agro-industrial or agroforestry supply chains for energy production.
• Familiarity with Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) oil, other palm-derived products, and used cooking oil (UCO) supply chains, including storage and quality standards.
• Expertise in biomass logistics and supply chain management.
• Expertise in export regulations and operations.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
