Job Summary
The PJO is fully responsible for overseeing mining operations, ensuring production targets, safety compliance, operational efficiency, and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mining activities in accordance with SOP and mining regulations
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Monitor operational performance including heavy equipment utilization and manpower productivity
- Manage operational costs including fuel consumption and equipment efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with government mining regulations (including Kepmen requirements)
- Lead operational teams and maintain strong coordination with supervisors and contractors
- Analyze production data and prepare regular operational reports
- Implement improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency
- Maintain good communication with management and relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years experience as PJO in nickel mining operations
- POM and Safety certifications (mandatory)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of mining production planning and fleet management
- Proficient in English
- Willing to be placed on site and join immediately
