This Position reports to:
Operations Manager - BL Excitation(AMEA)

**Key responsibilities**

In this role, you will be serving as ABB Excitation commissioning engineer with low to medium complexity. Ensuring completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Business in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your role and responsibilities
- Contributing to planning and implementation of commissioning activities. Supporting and coordinating the installation / commissioning activities with the Installation Supervisor / Site Manager
- Participating in internal project review meetings and providing inputs on commissioning activities
- Coordinating site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification. Identifying and recommending new effective solution to meet business and customer needs.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Engineering related disciplines
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Excitation & Electrical Systems knowledge in ABB Excitation (UNITROL) & ABB Electrical Systems
- Good understanding of Excitation Systems, MV & LV Switchgears, Transformers & Protection Relays
- Experience in Maintenance / Testing & Commissioning / FAT / SAT in Excitation & Electrical Systems
- Preferable working experience in Oil, Gas & Chemical plant/ Offshore/ Power & Water Industries
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
- Certification on ABB excitation system commissioning will be an added advantage
