**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

You are responsible for supporting manage and control the treasury, account payable and insurance activities of Bentoel Group to ensure that the activities are being done according to company needs and standards. **Reports to: Head of Corporate Finance**

**Geographic Scope**:Local

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Advising on all aspects of treasury & insurance management, including the cash flow management, funding requirement, insurance policy renewal, and insurance monitoring.
- Lead / assist with the execution of treasury related projects & working capital initiatives.
- Promote and lead a philosophy of continuous improvement regarding treasury management best practice.
- Ensure the compliance to global Treasury & Insurance policies and standards, as well as SOx controls
- Execute the delivery of Treasury related reporting and ensure it is delivered to the required quality.
- Manage FX exposures in the end market and work with the Region on appropriate actions.
- Monitor and drive for improvement in account payables area

**WORKING RELATIONSHIP**

**Internal**
- Finance Business partners collaborate to provide end to end finance delivery for end markets
- Finance Shared Services Centre - Establish & monitor effective operating procedures to deliver end to end treasury services
- Regional Treasury & Insurance - to align with the group’s direction
- Internal Auditors - to respond to queries and requests for information.
- CORA / Legal - collaboration and keeping up to date with business developments

**External**
- Bank relationship managers - effective, professional working relationships
- External Auditors - to respond to queries and requests for information

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Degree educated with related professional qualification (i.e. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACT)
- Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment and a good understanding of the tobacco business
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance/Treasury tools and systems
- Rational decision making / problem solving
- Continuous improvement and able to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
