**Job Title: Investment Analyst**
**Job Type: Contract Based with Possibility to be Permanent**
**Start Date: ASAP**
**Location: Singapore / Jakarta**

**Reports To: Head of Investments**

**Role Purpose: Support investment team to underwrite hotels / serviced apartment / residential projects for acquisition by Cove's capital partners**

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain real estate investment financial models for acquisition or long-term lease purposes
- Conduct research into competitors, market sizing, market profile and segments, pricing benchmarks, costings, capital expenditures, financing costs, etc. for the purpose of deal underwriting
- Assist in drafting investment pitch decks and marketing collaterals
- Assist with queries from capital partners related to the investment thesis
- Liaise and proactively utilize Cove's internal resources for deals underwriting

**Key Deliverables**:

- Investment pitch decks and real estate investment financial models

**Requirements**:

- Real Estate, Business, Accounting or Finance degreed from reputable university
- At least 2 - 3 years experience in sourcing, underwriting and executing investment deals preferably in the hospitality or residential asset class
- Strong financial modelling background and prior experience in preparing investment pitch decks
- Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work in a entrepreneurial setting and learn all aspects of the business

**Core Skills/Competencies**:

- Excellent Excel financial modelling skills
- Firm grasp of the economics of hospitality / residential projects versus other real estate classes
- Working, high level knowledge of the regional real estate market
- Working with slides for investment pitch decks
- Ability to stay focus in an unstructured environment and take full ownership of tasks assigned
