About the Role
- Lead the adaptation of IIX's global investment readiness curriculum for Indonesian SMEs and MSMEs.
- Integrate IIX's Orange principles and gender-lens investing into all training modules.
- Produce research, case studies, and knowledge products that localize IIX's impact frameworks and expertise for Indonesian enterprises, investors, and policymakers.
- Provide support during events and conduct trainings across Indonesia for SMEs/MSMEs, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and engagement.
- Must be available to travel across Indonesia to deliver trainings and provide event support.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Knowledge Products
- Conduct research on Indonesia's impact investing landscape, SME/MSME ecosystem, and policy environment.
- Develop publications, case studies, and briefing papers contextualizing global best practices and IIX's expertise for Indonesian SMEs and MSMEs,
- Generate insights that demonstrate how Orange Index, Seal, and Orange Bond Principles can be applied to strengthen SME/MSME practices and investment readiness in Indonesia.

Training & Curriculum Development
- Adapt IIX's global training content (investment readiness, ESG, gender-lens investing, and climate finance) for Indonesia's SMEs and MSMEs.
- Embed Orange Principles into training modules, ensuring enterprises can measure, improve, and communicate their gender, community, and climate impact.

Program & Event Support
- Provide support during events, including workshops, training, and capacity-building programs for SMEs/MSMEs.
- Oversee and prepare the training materials, presentations, and reports.
- Conduct trainings and workshops across Indonesia, delivering advisory and capacity-building sessions in collaboration with IIX teams.
- Collect and synthesize participant feedback to improve future training and knowledge products.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide research and content support for senior colleagues engaging with SMEs/MSMEs, investors, and government stakeholders in Indonesia at the National, State, local, and regional levels
- Assist in preparing presentations, training materials, and reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Research Outputs: High-quality, Indonesia-specific research and publications, with social impact and gender integration
- Training Customization: Localized training modules for SMEs/MSMEs fully embedding IIX's products and like Orange Index, Seal, and other services.
- Program & Event Delivery: Successful support and execution of trainings and workshops across Indonesia with measurable outcomes for SMEs/MSMEs.
- Support to Stakeholder Engagement: Timely delivery of research, presentations, and content to strengthen external engagements led by senior colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, development studies, gender studies, or related field.
- 5-8 years (Senior Associate) / 8-10 years (AVP) of relevant experience in research, program design, training, or event delivery.
- Strong research, writing, and curriculum development skills; ability to produce high-quality knowledge outputs.
- Familiarity with Indonesia's SME/MSME and sustainable finance ecosystem strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia highly desirable.
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills; ability to support and conduct trainings and workshops across Indonesia.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Indonesia.
