**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect to join us. In this role, you will support the South East Asia TME (Telco, Media & Entertainment) Sales team and provide presales technical support to customers. You will work with key customers on site or remotely to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer's engineering, development, and operations teams. To be successful, you'll need to gain an understanding of the customer's business needs and align those needs with the capabilities of our solutions. You will also play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. You'll serve as the customer's advocate with these teams to architect the best solution and ensure that it is implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.**What you will do**:
- Deliver successful Red Hat technology workshops for small to medium teams of technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions-
- Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concept and pilot deployments of Red Hat products in Service Provider network and IT environments.-
- Design, create, and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support Red Hat telco solutions at scale-
- Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products and solutions-
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk-
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the Telco communities by producing world-class whitepapers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry leading conferences**What you will bring**:
- 10+ years of IT industry experience, working with telecommunications, carrier and service provider customers-
- Understanding of service provider networks, OSS & BSS, NFV, CNF and how hybrid cloud architectures and edge will transform traditional deployments.-
- Solid Linux system administration skills at the level Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher; formal certification is not required-
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience-
- Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company-
- Record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives-
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms-
- Solutions-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services-
- Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers-
- Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought-
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (post COVID 19)-
- Business-level communication and presentation skills in English- #LI-EG1
