**Job Description: Assistant Sales Manager (Based in Batam)**

**Location**: Batam (working at Holiday Inn Resort Batam)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue from the Batam market.
- Identify and target potential corporate and leisure clients in Batam.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, and corporate partners.
- Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and promotional events in Batam to generate business.
- Collaborate with the resort’s marketing and operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Strong network and knowledge of the Batam market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel between Singapore and Batam as required.
