IT Director

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior IT role within an enterprise environment, ideally in large-scale hospitality or related industries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Extensive technical expertise in ERP, POS, and PMS platforms, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle NetSuite, Symphony, and Opera.
- Proven operational understanding of AI technologies and experience in integrating AI solutions at enterprise scale.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure, API design, and building scalable data architecture.
- Strong understanding of system integration, data flows, and architecture documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and key threats relevant to hospitality operations.
- Proven vendor management skills, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Prior experience managing annual IT budgets.
- Hands-on background in programming languages and network hardware configuration and management.
- Knowledge of leveraging hyper-scalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for storage and compute off-loading requirements.
- Previous experience leading IT operations in large hospitality venues or multi-site environments.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain the company-wide IT strategy to support business objectives, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Oversee, control, and optimise IT budgets for resources, infrastructure, and staff, ensuring cost efficiency and scalability.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions, aligning systems architecture with business priorities, compliance requirements, and security standards.
- Design, integrate, and maintain custom APIs, while contributing to the development of the company’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Data Lake systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps Engineers and Developers to build resilient infrastructure, manage cloud environments, and ensure high availability.
- Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to cross-functional technology teams.
- Oversee system uptime, maintenance, and upgrades across all IT assets, including Wi-Fi networks, servers, network infrastructure, CCTV, computers, and software.
- Implement and maintain system redundancies and disaster recovery strategies for all major systems.
- Ensure robust and resilient data storage practices to safeguard company data.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure optimal IT infrastructure support and service delivery.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to maintain the highest level of protection against cyber threats, including managing cybersecurity teams and protocols.
- Drive AI adoption and integration into company systems, defining and executing a long-term AI strategy.
