Royal HaskoningDHV (**RHDHV**) is an independent consultancy that integrates 140 years of engineering expertise with digital technologies and software solutions. We are recruiting for the Financial Analyst role for Ocean Shipping Consultants (**OSC**), a specialist RHDHV unit.

Ocean Shipping Consultants is the maritime economics & operations consultancy group of Royal HaskoningDHV and is a leading brand in the maritime sector. Based in London, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Indonesia - the team has a blue-chip global client base covering private equity, investment funds, governments, port terminal operators, and shipping companies.

**What will you do**:
**The Role**

You will be part of an (international) project team with people from different disciplines (commercial, technical, operations, financial, environmental). We understand the client's needs and formulate an approach that achieves their objectives. You will analyse market trends, build financial-economic models, and reflect on them with the clients: What insights can we gain? Which scenarios are considered, and how do they compare? What is the way forward?

You will work on multiple projects, covering asset classes in the maritime and supply chain industry. The work is fast-paced and distinctly different as you will need to cover different countries. You will need to maintain close contact with your colleagues to ensure that activities are optimally coordinated. **Where you will work**:
As our new financial analyst, you will become part of the Ocean Shipping Consultants (OSC) team in our Jakarta office.

- Analytical proficiency and the ability to articulate is a must.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn constantly

- Understand the importance of ethical behaviour and working with integrity;
- Strong communication skills to build a good relationship with customers and colleagues;
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines;
- Grounded and positive mindset towards improving from constructive feedback
- Graduate (no work experience) to 3 years of experience (whether as an intern or part/full-time employee),
- Excellent command of English and a 2nd language; command of other languages is an advantage.

**Job Requirements for Financial Analyst**
- Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of Finance or Business;
- Experience with financial modelling is an advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles, valuation methodologies and mastery of excel modelling
- Postgraduate qualifications would be an advantage (MBA/MSc/CFA)
