**Overview**:
URC is searching for an experienced Chief of Party for the anticipated $70 million USAID Bersama Menuju Eliminasi dan Bebas dari TB (BEBAS-TB) Activity in Indonesia. The purpose of this five-year Activity is to assist the Government of Indonesia in addressing the TB epidemic and achieving 2030 TB elimination targets by enhancing capacity of TB case finding, improving quality of TB screening and diagnosis, improving quality of TB service delivery, optimizing TB prevention while building stronger and more resilient health system to accelerate TB elimination, strengthening community participation in implementing TB activities, and leading implementation research efforts to improve TB control.

**Responsibilities**:
The Deputy Chief of Party/Technical Director works closely with the COP. S/he acts for the

COP as needed and carries out any other tasks assigned by the COP to ensure proper management of the Activity. Jointly with the MOH, NTP, private sector, nongovernmental organizations, sub-national authorities, donors, and implementing partners, DCOP will lead the unit that will design BEBAS-TB technical content and oversee its implementation. This position is a member of the Senior Management Team. The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Serve as technical lead on the design and implementation of activities to improve the quality of TB prevention, care, and treatment for all types of TB, which includes working in collaboration with the MOH, NTP, and other TB thought leaders.
- Aling with the MOH and NTP in the integration of new evidence-based innovations and international best practices while providing technical assistance in the development of strategies for TB prevention, diagnosis and treatment, including TB case finding, TB preventive therapy (TPT), DR-TB, MDR-TB, childhood TB management, infection prevention control (IPC) measures, and management of TB patients with co-morbidities.
- Lead efforts to develop and/or adapt training materials, facilitate planning and conduct trainings health care providers and civil society.
- Lead development of tools for the design and implementation of specific technical components.
- Lead and manage the technical team, including managers and specialists.
- Contribute to achieving Activity results, ensuring quality of technical assistance is maintained at the highest standards, and technical objectives and deliverables are met in a timely manner.
- Responsible for promoting partnership, multi-sectoral collaboration and private sector engagement to maximize the impact
- Engage technical experts at URC home office and STTA consultants strategically to support achievement of the Activity objectives in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in medicine or public health is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in TB services from prevention to detection, diagnostics, and treatment to building strong system
