Financial Analyst

Our client, an Investment and Strategy services company located in Kuta, Bali, specialises in high-value investment projects, business valuations, and shareholder-focused financial modeling is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team immediately.

This role involves working closely with the Director of Investment and Strategy to prepare advanced Excel models, business valuations, pitch decks, one-pagers, and comprehensive business case documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial valuation, modelling, or investment analysis.
- Expertise in financial valuation methodologies (DCF, multiples, precedent transactions) and business analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including dynamic modelling and visualisation tools.
- Experience with preparing investor/shareholder materials (e.g., pitch decks, valuation reports) is essential.
- Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulation tools or financial analysis software is a strong plus.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain advanced Excel models for financial projections, P&L, financial metrics, sensitivity analysis, and valuations.
- Perform financial valuations of businesses using DCF (Discounted Cash Flow), Termina Value, FCF multiples, EBITDA multiples, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and other methodologies.
- Assess shareholder value and provide insights on business performance to key stakeholders.
- Create compelling pitch decks, one-pagers, and business case documents tailored to institutional investors and shareholders.
- Develop standardised financial valuation reports for shareholder updates and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse financial and operational data for robust business case preparation.
- Conduct Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity analyses to validate assumptions and identify key risks and opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business valuations and investment recommendations.
- Prepare actionable recommendations for shareholders and investors based on valuation insights and strategic analysis.
- Work closely with the Director to align outputs with clients, investors and shareholders strategies.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial models and reports are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
- Refine and optimise financial models and templates for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on financial valuation methodologies, industry trends, and investor/shareholder expectations.
- Conducting financial analysis, including dynamic Excel modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Preparing standardised investment packages and financial documentation tailored for institutional investors.
- Create compelling business cases, and collaborate with the Director to secure funding, and close high-value investment deals.
