**Duties**:
He/she is also responsible for planning and implementing hardware, software, network upgrades and configurations so that they do not impact the users and are in compliance with Department of State Information Resources Management standards and Diplomatic Security requirements.

**Qualifications and Evaluations**:

- Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least four years performing progressively more responsible functions where emphasis is placed on analytical abilities focusing on Local Area Networking, computer operations and/or management, and maintaining Microsoft Windows based Server/Workstation network environment plus 2 years of customer service experience.

- Education Requirements:
Completion of Senior High School is required.

LANGUAGE _(this may be tested):_ Fluent speaking/reading/writing English is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- The incumbent should be able to clearly discuss and write the symptoms being experienced by the customers in order to resolve the issue to their satisfaction as well as read and understand supporting technical documentation.
Must be able to display excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interoffice communications and teamwork as well as being able to deal with Americans and Locally Engaged Staff in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently, to organize, prioritize, and schedule work.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET clearance.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
