Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of **Supervisor / Officer External Investigative Reporting.**
**Responsibilities**:
The role is responsible for conducting the effective and timely investigation in accordance with agreed standard reporting requirement and turnaround times. This include, to conduct AML investigation, Day-to-day operational activities, writing a high quality investigative narrative, recording the evidence of case history and also responsible for escalation investigations to the relevant parties. At the end of each of investigations, a comprehensive recommendation is to be made to EIR lead as to whether an STR should be filed.
The role also responsible for coordination, liaison and tracking of the communication made with internal and external counterparts, such as LoBs, Indonesian regulators, FIU and/or law enforcement.
Qualifications
**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:
- Should exhibit strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret and disseminate complex data and perform analysis as required by the business.
- Ability to understand and implement Group policies
- Ability to work as an effective team member within the departments and company as a whole;
- Ability to work independently
- Good communicator with strong inter personal skills.
- Experience of sharing information in a clear concise manner and strong communication skills, particularly competent with English written and spoken skills.
