Tech Project Management Officer

**Key Responsibilities**

Project Leadership:

- Manage end-to-end migration project requirements coming from various Users within the Bank.
- Ensure projects are delivered within timeline, budget and agreed scopes.

2. Stakeholder Coordination:

- Ridging Tech with Business and/or User teams and vendors.
- Project progress monitoring, reporting to senior management and steering committees.
- Facilitate troubleshooting issues related to banking modules/requirements deliveries (loans, deposits, payments, etc)

3. Risk and Compliance:

- Timely escalation of risks when risks are identified, coordinate implementation of mitigation measures as according to management directions.
- Ensuring regulatory and security compliance standards are met and maintained.
- Ensuring tech requirements deliveries meet Quality Assurance standards (SIT, UAT, Security, Performance).

4. [Addition] In particular to Core Banking Migration project:

- Manage cutover plan execution
- Issues management support post migration

**Minimum Qualifications: Educational Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Information Technology

**Relevant Experience**:
**Experience**:
8 - 15 years of experience in banking industry covering knowledge in business and business processes, operations, services, and technology. It is beneficial to have specific experience in core banking migrations, but not mandatory. Most importantly are strong leadership skills and tenacity in problem solving with multiple parties.

**Essential Skills**:
1. Organizational Skills:

- Stakeholder management, acting as liaison between Business Units, multiple teams/squads, vendors and senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors including core banking solution providers and surrounding systems integrators.

**2. Communication Skills**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project progress updates and presentations to steering committees. Internal o In particular to core banking system migration: coordination across multiple workstreams from data migration, interface development, to system testing and implementation.

**3. Technical Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with banking products across deposits, loans, digital channels, treasury.
- Knowledge of data migration methodologies and challenges in banking industry. o Facilitate technical support and provide functional expertise to ensure issue resolutions during migration execution.
- Management of all tech requirements coming from Users for deliveries per agreed plan and timeline.

**4. Risk and Change Management**:

- Timely escalation of any suspect issues related to risk and compliance for decision, mitigation and resolutions.
- Facilitate change management processes to address evolving requirements. o Ability to spot discrepancies and ensure compliance with standards.
- In particular to Core Banking Migration project: escalate possible impact on business-as-usual (BAU) operations during and post transition.

**Desireable But Not Always Required**
- Specific experience in core banking migration projects will be beneficial. - Willingness to work extended hours during critical project phases.
