Sqkii is known for our flagship #HuntTheMouse campaign that gives away cold, hard cash to players who find hidden coins. If you’ve seen Singaporeans squatting in random spots, walking around with metal detectors, or sticking their heads under tablesyou’ve probably seen one of our games in action. Besides our hunts, we also create custom games that bring players on other real life adventures and virtual journeys through their mobile screens — they’re also super cool, just ask the mouse.

Right now, we’re bringing #HuntTheMouse beyond the shores of Singapore to other cities across Asia-Pacific. We’ve visited 6 other cities so far, hidden a million dollars in Singapore in 2024, and oh boy do we have big plans ahead. Big plans = bigger team, so we’re on the hunt (ha) for someone who wants to hop onto this thrilling ride.

As our Lead Game UX Designer, you’ll work your magic behind-the-scenes to bring our current and future games to wild new heights. Fair warning — we’re open to ideas from literally anyone in the team, so you can expect some pretty absurd plans amidst legit game thingamajigs. If you love games, understand games, and can’t wait to create some of the most exciting ones to date, we (and our Game Operations team) are 200% ready to meet you.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Performing in-depth research in order to create effective user personas, information architecture and user journeys
- Producing high quality UX design work, including, user flow diagrams, site maps, wireframes and digital prototypes
- Conveying your vision for the final digital product through sketches, mood boards, and mid-fi screen mockups
- Working closely with game designers, developers, copywriters, UI designers and other stakeholders to produce high-quality gamification solutions
- Mentoring other Junior UX artists.
- (Bonus) Conducting tests for digital products at all stages of planning in order to analyse and predict user behaviour

**What you’ll need**:

- Proficiency in Figma
- Knowledge of UX processes and usability design principles
- The ability to synthesise user research into UX design insights
- Strong understanding of hierarchy and layout design principles
- Understanding of game navigation and common UI patterns
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in game design and/or interest in games would be a plus
