As a System Security Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in fortifying our digital infrastructure, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance across our cloud and on-premise environments. **What your current role should be like**:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in system security, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to implement secure architectures and automation processes, ensuring continuous security monitoring and system integrity.
- Drive comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and security checks, leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Puppet, and Jenkins to enhance security automation and resilience.
- Maintain a strategic focus on threat detection and response, utilizing monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for real-time insights and automated responses.
- Possess strong documentation and communication skills, ensuring clear articulation of security protocols, policies, and best practices to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

**What will you do?**
- **Risk Management and Monitoring**: Perform regular risk assessments, audits, and security checks. Continuously monitor network activity to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- **Collaboration and Implementation**: Work closely with development teams to implement and automate system security processes and optimize secure architectures.
- **Security Automation and Configuration**: Automate security protocols efforts across the organization utilizing containerized deployment on Kubernetes. Manage configuration tools like Puppet or Chef to maintain system consistency and security.
- Deploy and maintain stateful services on Kubernetes, including databases, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch, etc. on non-prod environments in Kubernetes.
- Setup and maintain monitoring of systems via Prometheus and Grafana to be on top of all production systems, go one step further with automated healing.
- Perform configuration management through Puppet, Chef or similar tools.
- **Security Tool Utilization**: Utilize Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) tools such as Jenkins/Google Cloud Build/Spinnaker, with a focus on secure deployment processes.
- **Cloud Security Management**: Develop and maintain secure, scalable cloud architecture solutions using platforms Cloud Providers such as GCP and AWS.
- Optimize GCP/AWS usage to get maximum cost benefit from the deployed resources.
- Build engineering tools, system dashboards, and monitoring alerts (ELK, StackDriver, CloudWatch) to avoid false alarms without missing actual ones.
- Monitor dependencies, integrations (APIs), and have hands-on experience with cloud services like VPC, Compute, Database, Document Storage, Messaging queues, etc.
