**POSITION INFORMATION**:
The Project Assistant will provide coordination, and technical support for the implementation of the Renewable Energy Accelerated Transition (RE-ACT) project. To ensure smooth project execution, the Project Assistant will coordinate with the GGGI Indonesia energy program and liaise with relevant stakeholders at both the national and sub-national levels.

The Project Assistant’s responsibilities will focus on coordinating project activities, including organizing meetings, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and supporting event preparation. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support by liaising with technical Ministries and other stakeholders in the Renewable Energy sector. The Project Assistant will also contribute to data collection activities, including information gathering, data processing, and ensuring that technical information is accurately reported and disseminated.

**PURPOSE**:
The Project Assistant will support the implementation and monitoring of the RE-ACT Project in Indonesia. The role focuses on ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of technical assistance, project reporting, stakeholder coordination, and knowledge of products aligned with RE-ACT’s strategic priorities. This includes supporting evidence-based policy development, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and enhancing data and communications management.

**ENGAGEMENT**:
The Project Assistant will work as a part of GGGI’s Country Program and be based in Jakarta. Reporting to the RE-ACT Project Manager, S/he will work in close collaboration with the Project team.

The Project Assistant will conduct the following tasks, among others:

- Assist the project team in supporting the development and operationalization of evidence-based policy recommendations by helping to connect technical insights with stakeholder priorities. Contribute to transforming study findings into actionable summaries and inputs relevant for the Government of Indonesia.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination with government agencies, private sector partners, and development stakeholders. Provide logístical and coordination support for meetings, workshops, and consultations with government agencies, private sector partners, and other stakeholders. Maintain updated records of stakeholder contacts and engagement activities.
- Help gather, organize, and present project data and inputs for reporting purposes. Assist in drafting meeting notes, simple communication materials, and activity updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.

**DELIVERY**:
1. Policy Support Outputs
- Drafts or contributions to policy summaries, briefing notes, or technical input documents tailored for government counterparts.
- Compiled feedback or input matrices from stakeholders on policy recommendations.
- Working files or annotated summaries of key technical studies, with relevance highlighted for project use.

2. Stakeholder Engagement Materials
- Agendas, invitation lists, participant attendance records, and logístical plans for meetings, workshops, and consultations.
- Stakeholder engagement tracker/database with up-to-date contact details, engagement history, and follow-up actions.
- Summary notes or key takeaways from stakeholder discussions and events.

3. Project Communication and Reporting Support
- Drafted or co-developed content for project reports, activity updates, and internal briefings.
- Drafts of communication materials such as simple slide decks, info sheets, or newsletter inputs.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum Bachelor’s degree in sustainable development, economics, international relations, engineering, or political science is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in renewable energy sector and policy development. Internship experience may be considered as part of the required experience.
- Experience in working with the government and non-government counterparts on a day-to-day basis in Indonesia is essential.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural and international organization is preferred.
- Experience in organizing events in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia for reporting and presentations are essential.
- Willingness for occasional travels to selected provinces.

**FUNCTIONAL**:

- Experience in engaging with other government stakeholders to maintain relationships and build trust and identify potential alignment with the Project.
