Manufacturing Project Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of assigned projects, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and status reports to guide project execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and other departments for seamless project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while providing summary-level updates to executives.
- Support site leaders in deploying Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate value stream mapping (VSM), 5S, visual controls, Kanban, and other lean methodologies across teams.
- Monitor the adoption and progress of ELS practices, conducting assessments and driving improvement initiatives.
- Review current and future state value streams and kaizen proposals to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Lead site layout and flow process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party vendors and senior management.
- Partner with functional leaders to ensure alignment of project goals with broader business objectives.
- Develop ELS training plans and oversee the progress of trainers and implementation teams.
- Coach and mentor team members to build project management and Lean Sigma expertise.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; **advanced degree** preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record of leading large-scale, **cross-functional initiatives**.
- **Project Management Professional (PMP)** certification preferred.
- Expertise in **Lean Sigma** / DfLS methods and tools (e.g., 5S, VSM, Kanban) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Toyota Way principles, including **Kaizen**, **Just-in-Time (JIT)**, and respect for people, is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in project tracking software (e.g., **Microsoft Project**) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
