**Position Overview**

Based at our regional Innovation Centre in Central Java, in order to further support our business development we are currently seeking an:
**TECHNICAL ADVISOR**

(_Semarang_)

**Key Accountabilities**
- Developing concepts and recipes in line with the nutritional philosophy of the company and the market expectations, customer needs, and consumer trends, in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
- Visiting customers (artisan, retail and industrial bakeries) to work on well-defined projects and assure the follow-up on projects; including but not limited to training of customers’ team, implementing specific programs with retail customers, presenting new recipes and solutions.
- Accentuating the quality of the products, supporting customers in the preparation of finished products at a high quality level.
- Use the latest technologies to optimize customers’s working efficiency without compromise on the quality of the product.
- Ensuring the creation of reports (including recipes) for each project to facilitate prompt follow-up when required.
- Actively participate in new product development early in the process and take part in range review & positioning, together with the R&D and the Marketing departments/BU.
- Assure that the image building process is in line with Puratos product standards (pictures, leaflets, video, virtual IC, Social media, etc).

**Profile**
- Min. Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Gastronomic Sciences / Culinary major / Baking School.
- More than 3 years professional work experience, be familiar process of bakery, patisseries, and other pastries, and the usage of the baking ingredients.
- Production techniques knowledge in Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate and new developments in market (products and technology).
- Currently reside in Central Java area or willing to be assigned permanently in Semarang.
- Other requirements: passion for baking, good communication skills, flexibility and spirit of adaptation, precision, reliability.
