Our client, a restaurant in Pererenan, is seeking a HR Manager with the following job description:
A. Job Overview:
The HR Manager in the restaurant will be responsible for managing and supporting the human resources functions, ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance with local labor laws, and creating a positive work environment. You will collaborate with restaurant management to address HR needs and help build a productive, efficient, and motivated team.
B. Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing:
- Oversee recruitment and staffing for front-line and kitchen positions.
- Manage job postings, interviews, and hiring processes for both full-time and part-time employees.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and induction processes for new hires.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring effective communication.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote a positive work environment, focusing on team building and morale.
3. Training & Development:
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions to improve employee performance and service quality.
- Ensure all staff members are properly trained in food safety, hygiene standards, customer service, and other job-specific skills.
- Support ongoing development programs to help employees grow in their roles and progress in their careers.
4. Performance Management:
- Assist in conducting employee performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Monitor employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and job satisfaction.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in salary administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and restaurant policies.
- Manage employee leave requests (e.g., sick leave, vacation, etc.) and attendance records.
- Provide employees with information regarding benefits, allowances, and other compensation matters.
6. Compliance & Labor Law:
- Ensure that the restaurant complies with Indonesian labor laws, including wage, working hours, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper employee records, ensuring documentation is in line with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on local labor laws and HR best practices to ensure the restaurant is fully compliant.
7. Health and Safety:
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, ensuring employees are well-trained in safety procedures.
- Address any workplace accidents or injuries, ensuring proper reporting and compliance with workplace safety regulations.
8. General Administration:
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, such as staffing levels, turnover rates, and training completion records.
- Assist with payroll processing and handle any employee payroll-related inquiries.
C. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR Manager or HR Generalist (Supervisor), preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) is a plus.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
E. Compensation and Benefit
- Base Salary start from Rp. 6.000.000
- BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan
- Service Fee
