CSG Talent are seeking a start-up experienced and motivated Lead Civil Engineer for the new smelter project rapidly advancing creating exciting job opportunities in Indonesia.

This role requires relocation to one of the most beautiful regions in the country - West Kalimantan and occasional business travel to the company HQ.

**Position Description**:

- Provide Civil and Structural engineering support to the Project Team, Engineering Consultants and other third parties.
- Prepare, review, evaluate and approve Civil and Structural engineering and design documentation produced by Consultants and internally.
- Provide Civil and Structural engineering expertise, advice and leadership to the Project Team.
- Interface between internal, external and third parties on matters relating to Civil and Structural engineering.
- Conduct site visits and surveys and document findings.
- Actively participate in design, constructability, maintainability and value engineering reviews to ensure engineering design is safe, cost effective and fit for purpose.
- Represent the Civil and Structural engineering discipline throughout the engineering, procurement and construction phase of the project.
- Proactively support the Project in identifying risks, threats and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate regularly, professionally and ethically at all times.
- Conduct themselves with a strong focus on health, safety and environment during all phases of the Project.
- Specific technical experience in:

- Drainage and roads;
- Concrete bored piling;
- Large equipment foundations;
- Building foundations;
- Non-Process Buildings design, layout and construction (preferable modular);
- Steel structures experience including equipment, buildings, pipe supports;
- Jetty/Port Facility experience.
