**Operational manager at Villa Tokay Resort, Gili Air**
Villa Tokay Resort, a luxury destination on Gili Air, is seeking a dynamic and experienced operational manager to join our team.
This key role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort during the afternoon and evening, ensuring that all departments run smoothly, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you're a proactive leader with strong operational management skills, we want to hear from you
- **Oversee daily operations**: Manage all daily resort activities, ensuring seamless operations in the bar, restaurant, kitchen, room service, and other guest services.
- **Coordinate outlets**:Work closely with department supervisors from the kitchen, front desk, and service areas to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- **Monitor service quality**: Oversee staff performance across all areas, ensuring that high service standards are consistently met and guest satisfaction is maintained.
- **Daily briefings**: Conduct daily briefings with department heads to review operations, discuss updates, and address any issues or challenges.
- **Weekly meetings**: Organize and lead weekly meetings with the resort manager and guest relations executive to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and plan future operational strategies.
- **Team leadership**:Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication, teamwork, and staff development across departments.
- **Guest relations coordination**: In the absence of the guest relations executive, ensure seamless coordination between the front desk, concierge, and spa services to guarantee an exceptional guest experience.
- **Enhance guest experience**: Proactively address guest feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction.
- **Health and safety compliance**: Ensure all operational areas comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
- **Operational reporting**:Regularly update the resort manager on operational challenges, guest feedback, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- **Supervise closures**:Oversee the closing procedures of all outlets, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently at the end of each day.
**Key qualifications**:
- Proven experience in hospitality operations management, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of the Resort Manager.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety.
- Flexibility to work afternoons and evenings
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
