Electric & Instrument Technician

Provides maintenance craft specific support to plants. Maintains and repairs all types of equipment within craft knowledge and expertise. Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
- Calibrates and aligns equipment
- Completes preventive maintenance activities and report to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Check sizing of component and parts
- Specifies, requisitions, and installs parts and equipment
- Coordinates maintenance spare parts
- Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator and operations input.
- Sets up and calibrate, tests, measures and repairs all types of controls and instrument with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables likes Pressure Transmitter, Flow Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter, Control Valve, Variable Speed Drive and electrical motor
- Repairs, maintains, and installs equipment and machinery which is used in chemical company.
- Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis
- Collect equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements

Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as result of planning and scheduling work
