About The Client:

A new luxury boutique hotel in Uluwatu, where elevated comfort meets the island's laid-back surf and wellness spirit. We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional service and authentic guest experiences.

What You Will Contribute:

The General Maintenance supports the Engineering Department in ensuring all hotel facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well maintained and fully operational. This role plays an important part during the pre-opening phase, handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic civil works to support a successful hotel opening and daily operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair works for hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
  • Assist the Engineering team in daily engineering operations and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Handle basic civil works such as minor masonry, painting, tiling, plastering, and finishing repairs.
  • Support maintenance of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and mechanical systems under supervision.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs.
  • Assist during pre-opening setup, testing, and commissioning of hotel facilities and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure maintenance works follow safety standards, SOPs, and hotel policies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors when required.
  • Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned by the Chief of Engineer.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in General Maintenance or Engineering, preferably with a hotel background.
  • Experience supporting hotel engineering operations and pre-opening activities is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, AC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to handle basic civil works such as painting, tiling, and minor repairs.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced pre-opening environment with flexible schedules.
  • Willing to learn, adaptable, and ready to support hotel operations from pre-opening to opening phase.
