What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cost control
  • Providing exceptional customer service by monitoring the dining floor, resolving any guest issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Leading and motivating a team of servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Implementing and enforcing all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
  • Actively participating in the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue and increase customer traffic
  • Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager to identify and address operational challenges, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Assisting with financial management tasks, such as cash handling, reporting, and budgeting

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
  • Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills to identify and address operational challenges
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
