About Role

We are seeking an experienced
Information Security Specialist
to lead and strengthen security operations in a
Tier-1 Telecommunications environment.
You will serve as a
trusted advisor to executive leadership (CISO/CIO level)
, guiding security teams across multiple domains to ensure resilience, compliance, and protection against evolving cyber threats. This role combines
strategic leadership, hands-on expertise
, and
client engagement
, offering the opportunity to shape enterprise-level security practices in a complex, high-availability environment.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in
    Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years
    in a
    security leadership or management
    role
  • 5+ years
    experience as a
    security consultant or trusted advisor
    for enterprise clients
  • Strong technical background
    across multiple security domains, including:
  • Network, Infrastructure, and Cloud Security
  • GRC, Risk, and Compliance Management
  • Vulnerability & Threat Management
  • Application and Endpoint Security
  • Demonstrated ability to
    communicate with executive stakeholders
    and translate complex risks into actionable insights
  • Proven capability to
    design, implement, and manage cross-domain security operations
  • At least one of the following (or equivalent) certifications:

CISM
,
CISSP
,
CISA
,
CISO Program Certification
, or
MSc in Information Security

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a
    trusted security advisor
    to client leadership (CISO, CIO, and senior management)

  • Lead and mentor
    security SMEs
    across domains such as:

  • Network & Firewall Security

  • Cloud & Application Security
  • Identity & Access Management (IDM, IGM, PAM)

  • Vulnerability & Endpoint Security

  • Ensure compliance with
    ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, GDPR
    , and internal policies

  • Provide
    L2/L3 hands-on support
    and coordinate issue resolution across technical teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including regular reporting on progress, risks, and KPIs
  • Guide the design and delivery of
    tailored security solutions
    based on business needs and emerging risks
  • Stay ahead of
    new attack vectors
    (e.g., AI-driven threats, emerging CVEs, evolving vulnerabilities)
  • Oversee vendor engagement and interdepartmental coordination for holistic security coverage
