The role

Reporting to the General Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join PT. Metal Furniture Trading as a Business Manager. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving new business development and growth for the company's furniture products across the Surabaya East Java region. This is a full-time position based in Surabaya East Java.

Key responsibilities

1. Developing and executing sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities
2. Fluent in Mandarin or English
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
4. Negotiating and closing sales contracts to meet and exceed revenue targets
5. Providing expert product knowledge and technical support to clients
6. Analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas
7. Reporting on sales performance and providing recommendations for improvement
8. Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and finance teams

What we're looking for

1. Proven track record in new business development and sales within the furniture industry
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key decision makers
3. Strong commercial acumen and business development expertise
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends
5. Collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach
6. Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
