About the role

Join ISMAYA GROUP, as a Wine Butler. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service and knowledge to our discerning guests. This role offers the opportunity to be part of one of the city's most vibrant and stylish hospitality experiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Recommend and serve premium wines from our expertly curated wine list
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our wine selection, including tasting notes and pairings
  • Assist guests in selecting the perfect wine to complement their dining experience
  • Ensure proper wine storage, decanting, and service techniques are followed
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to provide seamless service
  • Monitor and maintain wine inventory and stock levels
  • Participate in wine-themed events and tastings to enhance guest experiences

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Wine Sommelier or Wine Butler in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
  • In-depth knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and production methods
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to engage with guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Passion for hospitality and a desire to exceed guest expectations
  • Certification or training in wine service and sommelier skills is preferred
