Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Security Engineer located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network, systems, and applications. The day-to-day tasks include implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures, monitoring network traffic, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents. The IT Security Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.

  1. Perform system security monitoring.

  2. Support security compliance assessments such as PCI DSS

  3. Perform server and network setup, maintenance, and infrastructure monitoring.

  4. Perform infrastructure project support.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor or Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/ Informatic Engineering or related disciplines
  • 1- 2 years of technical working experience in IT who has a special interest in information security is preferable.
  • Knowledge of SIEM, DLP, IDSTCP/IP networking, Windows Server, Tomcat and Apache Web Servers and some database experience
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Cybersecurity, Network Security, Information Security, and Application Security skills
  • Experience in designing and implementing security measures
  • Knowledge of information technology concepts and principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in the payment industry or financial services sector is a plus
