English Class Teacher

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Corporate Business English Instructor to deliver customized language training to our staff across various departments. The primary goal of this role is to improve employees' professional English proficiency, focusing on communication skills critical for international business, client interaction, and internal corporate efficiency. The ideal candidate must be adept at tailoring curriculum to meet the specific, practical needs of adult learners in a fast-paced corporate environment.

1. Curriculum Development and Customization

• Conduct Needs Assessments (e.g., surveys, interviews, placement testing) with managers and employees to identify specific communication gaps (e.g., email etiquette, presentation skills, negotiation).
• Design and develop customized, industry-relevant curriculum and training materials focused on real-world business scenarios, such as report writing, meeting facilitation, teleconferencing, and formal correspondence.
• Ensure all course content aligns with company goals and professional development objectives.

2. Instruction and Delivery

• Deliver engaging, dynamic, and learner-centric Business English classes for small groups and one-on-one executive coaching sessions (in-person and/or virtually).
• Focus instruction on practical application, utilizing role-playing, case studies, and authentic company documents (where appropriate) to reinforce learning.
• Manage a diverse group of adult learners with varying proficiency levels and functional roles.

3. Assessment and Reporting

• Establish clear, measurable learning objectives for each course and session.
• Regularly assess student progress using formal and informal methods (e.g., mock presentations, written assignments, and proficiency tests).
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to trainees and progress reports to HR/Management, demonstrating the Return on Investment (ROI) of the training.

4. Administrative & Professional Duties

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, scores, and course feedback.
• Stay current with best practices in adult learning and Business English/TESOL methodology.
• Collaborate with the HR and Training teams to schedule classes and manage logistics efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience teaching Business English or Corporate Language Training to adults.
• Prior exposure to or experience working within a corporate setting (highly preferred).

• Technological Proficiency: Experience utilizing virtual classroom platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for blended or fully online learning.

• This position may require a flexible schedule, as classes are often held before work, during lunch hours, or after work to accommodate employee schedules.
• Will require travel between company offices/sites (if applicable) or consistent virtual presence.
