Job Summary: The Restaurant Host is the first point of contact for guests and plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. This position involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of the dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception: Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and provide them with a friendly and professional welcome.

Seating Management: Manage the seating chart, assign tables, and ensure efficient seating to optimize restaurant flow.

Reservations: Managing the Resdairy application by coordinating bookings and accommodating special requests when possible.

Customer Service: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Communication: Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Cash Handling: Process payments and manage the waitlist as needed.

Event Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating special events or large party bookings.

Requirements:

  • Comprehending the Resdairy system, monitoring it daily, and informing the On-Duty Manager on the booking schedule
  • Interacting with guests every day via the on-site phone (whatsapp). inquiries about events and functions will be a common part of the communication channels. any inquiries must be communicated directly to the executive chef and the manager on duty promptly.
  • The capacity to receive queries about group reservations and carefully handle their needs. Please review the required management plan as there is a separate sop for group reservations.
  • Understand the lola's standard operating procedures for reservations and handling guests.
  • Understanding the lola's sequence of service
  • Understanding all of lola's food and beverage offerings and daily and weekly specials
  • Keeping conscious of the events we have scheduled in our calendar. comprehending the event brief and overseeing attendees or consumers during the event
  • Understanding Lola's handbook, rules and regulations, and brand identity.
  • The capacity to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fundamental mathematical abilities for monitoring the waitlist and processing payments.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and managing the waitlist.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
