Role Description

This is a part-time contract position for a Mandarin Teacher at Global Prestasi School in Dago, Bandung. The role entails planning and delivering engaging Mandarin language lessons to students, creating a positive and effective learning environment, and assessing students' progress. This is an on-site role based in Bandung, requiring direct interaction with students to facilitate their language learning journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mandarin in accordance with the syllabus and learning objectives.
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities.
  • Deliver effective instruction in both classroom and online learning environments.
  • Design, administer, and evaluate assessments to monitor student learning and progress.
  • Prepare students for
    HSK examinations
    , including test-oriented practice and language skill reinforcement.
  • Monitor student development, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Support students' language development through interactive and differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events, and engage in professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature, Chinese Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    HSK Level 4
    with strong fluency in spoken and written Mandarin.
  • Good literacy skills in MS Office, online teaching platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Experience in preparing students for
    HSK tests
    is an advantage.
  • Prior experience teaching Mandarin is preferred.
  • Willing to be placed in
    Dago, Bandung
    .
