Maintenance Technician

Job Title – Maintenance Technician

Location – Karawang, Indonesia

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is based at Firmenich Aromatics Indonesia, Karawang Plant. The role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting equipment installation and commissioning. It ensures compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards, maintains accurate maintenance records, and collaborates with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and manages compliance with local food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate one or more of the following Categories of Maintenance Activities and may have additional tasks within each:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Support equipment installation and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards.
• Collaborate with teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement and food safety compliance.

You Bring:

• Educational background in Mechanical or Electrical from Vocational School, Polytechnic, or University.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, structured, and well-organized.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple requests efficiently.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Adaptable in fast-paced environments with developing analytical and problem-solving abilities.
