Client Industry: Hyperscale Data Center

Employment Type: Contract-based 12 months

Work Type: Onsite

Purpose: To source qualified professionals supporting the construction and commissioning of the Hyperscale Data Center project.

Overview

Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the compliance, safety, and technical accuracy of all lifting operations on site. Focus on complex lifting activities in a hyperscale data center environment, including limited crane access and heavy equipment lifting such as gensets, chillers, and modular units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve all
    Lifting Method Statements (LMS)
    and risk assessments for each lifting operation.
  • Verify the technical suitability of lifting plans considering site constraints, equipment specifications, and safety standards.
  • Oversee and inspect lifting of major equipment (e.g., gensets, chillers, and critical mechanical units).
  • Ensure all lifting tools, cranes, and rigging gear are certified and compliant.
  • Coordinate with Safety, Construction, and Engineering teams to ensure safe and compliant lifting operations.
  • Provide technical support and corrective action to improve quality and safety outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction projects
    (preferably Data Center, Industrial, or High-Rise).
  • Proven experience handling heavy lifting operations
    (genset, chiller, large mechanical units).
  • Certified Lifting Engineer / Rigging Supervisor / Lifting Specialist.
  • Strong knowledge of load calculation, rigging plans, and lifting procedures.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
