Description

As Cluster Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations across both properties, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable facilities while meeting brand standards and business objectives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver preventive maintenance, sustainability initiatives, and capital projects in line with IHG requirements.

You will lead and develop the engineering teams, manage budgets and CAPEX projects, ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and work closely with Operations and Owners to support long-term asset value.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead and oversee engineering operations across both hotels
  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs and asset protection
  • Manage CAPEX, projects, and engineering budgets
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire life, and statutory regulations
  • Drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives
  • Lead, train, and develop engineering teams

What We Need From You

  • Proven experience as Director of Engineering or similar role in a hotel or resort environment
  • Strong technical expertise in building systems and maintenance
  • Experience managing CAPEX and large-scale projects
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
